Shipping & Lead times

All shipping is calculated at check out and in certain cases we will email the purchaser with specific shipping arrangements. This will apply specifically to large and heavy items as well as to customers with a delivery address in outlying and rural areas within South Africa.

We currently only ship within South Africa.

The following guideline applies to the shipping of our parcels:

  • Our courier service offers delivery from Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm. 
  • Weekend or after-hour deliveries may be offered on special request at a surcharge.  
  • Shipping to all major cities and towns will be charged a flat rate of: ZAR 150
  • For products of a larger size and weight a flat rate surcharge will apply.
  • For shipments to outlying and rural areas a surcharge of ZAR 250 may apply and this will be communicated via email.
  • Standard lead time is 10-14 unless otherwise stated in individual product description.  Custom made products will take longer and is product dependent.

As we specialize in hand made products and support local artisans, our products are produced by hand and may be subject to unforeseen delays and stock availability. We understand you are as excited as we are for the arrival of your products but please bear in mind our tale and our objective to buy curated, small batch alternatives. This may take a little longer, but it will be worth the wait and it empowers local artisans of our beautiful country.

If multiple products purchased in one order and they each have different stipulated lead times; we will send you an email with the estimated time of delivery, either phased delivery or full order in one shipment.

Express shipping will be available at check out soon, but in the meantime please email us should you require express shipping in under 48 hrs.

Scout & Sunday (Pty) Ltd will not be held responsible for late deliveries (including express shipping) as once the parcel has been handed over to the courier company, we have no control over deliveries and times.

If you have not received your order within the communicated time, please inform us within 10 days after the original agreed delivery window. Any claim not made in writing and within the period stipulated shall be deemed to have been waived and shall lapse.

Our priority is to deliver all our products to you on time and as soon as possible and will do our utmost best to achieve this and stay in close contact with our customers on the progress of your order. Feel free to email us at any time should you have any question or concern.

Returns & Exchanges

We will gladly exchange any full price items within 7 days of purchase if the item is in its original packaging and condition. Item must not have been used, worn or washed and tags still attached with proof of purchase. The items(s) will be inspected before exchange is approved.

Exchanges for different colour/ style item in the same product listing will be subject to stock availability and pricing at time of exchange.

We regret no refunds or exchanges on sale items. For hygiene reasons no food & pantry, underwear and skincare can be exchanged or refunded. Made-to- order items may also not be exchanged or refunded. Courier costs of returned good shall be charged at customer’s expense.

If your product(s) is damaged on delivery, please notify us and provide substantiating images within 48 hrs of delivery and we will assess and be in touch with the proposed solution.

Please check each product listing individual additional information notes regarding returns and refunds as all products has customized terms which will be applicable.

Refunds will only be given subject to products being faulty. Any refunds will be refunded via the original method of payment used for purchase. Any returns enquiries can be sent to
